Signature Candle
- BURN TIME -
To prevent your candle tunnelling, the first time you light your candle, let the wax melt all the way to the edge of the jar. Never burn for more than 4 hours at a time.
- WICK TRIMMING -
Always trim the wick before relighting. Trimming the wick will help your candle stay alight, burn evenly and last longer.
You can trim by pinching the wick with a tissue or by using a pair of scissors or wick trimmers.
It's important to do this before each burn as the charcoal can cause the candle to extinguish, the flame to burn to high and become Smokey.
- UV LIGHTING -
Candles are susceptable to temperature and UV light. Fragrances with a vanilla content may turn yellow, this is normal and does not affect the burn of the candle. Store your candles in an upright position.
- GLASS CARE -
If you get any black soot on the rim of your glass, just wipe it away with a damp cloth, this may be a sign that your wick is too long and needs to be trimmed or your candle has been burning for longer than 4 hours.
- SAFETY -
Please never leave your candle unattended. Keep away for children, pets and home furnishings.
You know It’s time to say goodbye to your candle when there is only one centimetre of wax remaining at the bottom of your jar. This will prevent possible damage to the glass and your surfaces. The remaining wax can then be easily removed with boiling water. Once cooled, the wax should settle at the surface and the jar can be wiped clean.
